Sacramento, Calif. (KTXL) — Sacramento County is reminding pet house owners that they will get low-cost vaccinations and microchips for his or her pets each third Thursday of the month.
The month-to-month occasion is held at Bradshaw Animal Shelter, and VIP Pet Care runs the vaccination clinic. The clinics are from 3 pm to five pm, with pet house owners required to test in on-line through smartphone.
Pet house owners will want to verify canine are on leash and cats are in carriers. Per county regulation a license is required for pets older than 4 months, and they are often bought Tuesday by way of Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in money or with a test for about $15.
Microchips could be bought for $30.
“A microchip vastly will increase the probabilities of your pet getting misplaced,” stated Annette Bedsworth, director of Bradshaw Animal Shelter. “It takes only a second to scan, after which we are able to rapidly reunite the pets with their households.
